My role: Oversaw project from strategic development to final delivery. Advised on importance of video production vs stills given the target audience and talent (gamers!). Sourced an wonderful designer/animator who did a stellar job bringing the concept of “powering up” to life via electric, anime inspired animations.
Project Description:
Briefed by Nike’s Member Innovation team to engage with their gaming affinity audience to inspiring movement and sport.
Our approach started with a strategy rooted in our insight: better athletes make better gamers. Studies show that even 15-minutes of exercise can improve gaming performance.
We developed the creative platform, Power Up, building on gaming language to inform our creative manifesto.
Our campaign covered the entire Nike’s Member ecosystem: Nike App, Nike Running Club and Nike Training Club, in addition to leveraging our hero talent, Rekkles’, owned social channels.
